For this to happen, the management defines the Food Safety as an integral part of the company's global strategy, outlining the guidelines to achieve a consistent and continuous improvement of its performance. In this way, the top management of ANSELMO MENDES VINHOS, LDA undertakes to:
- Ensure the food safety of the wines produced, through compliance with the Food Safety Management System implemented in the company, in accordance with the NP EN ISO 22000:2023 standard;
- Maintain and review the Food Safety System in order to ensure the production of products in compliance with the established procedures, to comply with the legal requirements in force in the sector and the contractual requirements assumed with customers, regarding food security;
- Continuously evaluate and promote customer satisfaction;
- Be attentive to the demands of the internal and external markets, the movements of the competition and technological developments related to the company's sector of activity;
- Provide the necessary human resources, infrastructure and work environment to ensure food safety of the wines produced;
- Inform all its employees about the Food Safety Management Policy and encourage their participation in its implementation of the same;
- Train its employees in order to promote their constant updating and improvement in terms of food safety;
- Periodically qualify and evaluate relevant suppliers (materials/products and services) and demand rigor in the quality of products and services provided. Maintain good communication with them in order to ensure the quality and food safety of the raw and subsidiary materials supplied and subcontracted services;
- Define, review and systematically evaluate objectives and targets for improving quality and food safety performance through of quantifiable indicators, promoting continuous improvement;
